- This one is a simple hairstyle that is easy to get and ideal for a prom night. It gives a carelessly beautiful look and can be just perfect for girls in the college or high school. To get this hairstyle, comb your hairs, and part them at the side. You should comb the larger side of the partition softly from over your face to get that soft touch. Add the hair accessory to the other side to complete the look. - Source: Internet

- When creating evening styles for very short hair, the quickest and most effective method for maximizing volume is to tease the crown. To start, run a bit of thick volumizing mousse or spray through your locks, focusing on the roots. Next, tease the crown section with a comb, brushing downwards toward the roots. Make a few twists and pin them around the bouffant. - Source: Internet
- Step out in style with this upscale princess look that’s highly recommended for graduation ****hairstyles. It features a luscious mix of golden blonde and brown blonde color tones and a loose side braid pinned in place. The cascading fluffy waves add bounce and volume. - Source: Internet
- Second, if you want a pretty solid split of hair up and down, go for half up. You will need to decide how you want the front and top of your hair swept back and if you want it gathered high or low, tight or loose, etc. Then for the hair that’s down, do you want it curly or straight and to what degree? This is a common style and kind of the best of both worlds because you get to incorporate your favorite updo and down style. - Source: Internet
- Messy is fantastic when it comes to elegant updos. If you have the length, you can first bring the hair to life by giving it streaks of color to add more excitement into the look. The long, wavy locks have been left tousled and styled into a loose bun at the back, leaving the hair looking artistic and very unique. - Source: Internet
- Next, we have another braid style. This time we have a short bob with a side braid. The side braid has also been accessorized with trendy hair rings. We love the hair rings because they give the hair a more unique and stylish look. You can buy hair rings online and different colors and designs are available, so you can show off your individual sense of style. - Source: Internet
- This is another open hairstyle with curls that can help you to steal the show. This hairstyle can match perfectly with a prom dress and is sure to give you a stunning look. Part your hairs at the side, and sweep the larger part from over your forehead covering a part of your face. Add the curls perfectly and place the hair broche just above the ear of the other side. Make sure that the broche is a perfect match with your dress and accessories. - Source: Internet
- Begin by prepping the hair for an updo {I used a 25mm curling wand and added some hairspray to help define longer lasting curls}… Take a front section of hair, from the forehead to the crown, and carefully back comb it all with a teasing comb {remember when teasing, only go in a downward motion, not an up-and-down motion. This will help add volume, yet keep the hair from tangling and being difficult to take out later}… Once teasing is done, flip the hair back over and using an edge of the comb or smoothing brush, gently smooth the top surface of the hair only {being careful not to comb out your tease}… Leaving about 2 inches of hair above each ear down, gather the rest of the teased hair and create a poof on top/front and shape it to your liking… When you love the way the top looks, set it by crossing bobby pins in the back {I used four pins to get Brooklyn’s thick hair to stay in place all day}… Next, take the two inches of hair on one side of the head and Dutch braid them. I started with Dutch Braid stitching {adding hair in the sides} for three or four stitches, before switching to a regular 3-strand braid… Only go a few stitches past the back center of the head before securing the braid with an elastic… Now go back and pancake the braid {making the hair look more full and also cover any unwanted part lines… Repeat Steps #6-8 on the other side of the head… Then take one braid over the poof bobby pins and secure in place… Next, cross the other braid over and bobby pin you just placed, making sure to tuck the elastics under other braid to hide them… Use a strong finishing spray to set the style, and add accessories {if desired}. - Source: Internet
